The City of Tool Volunteer Fire Department is founded on the principal belief that the department can be no stronger than its membership. The Volunteers of the City of Tool Fire Dept value their commitment to fellow Members, other Departments and to Citizens of Tool and its surrounding areas.

As our City grows so shall our resolve to protect and serve our community.

The department was Established in April 2009 and is 100% compliant with the national requirements mandated by FEMA  through NIMS and currently holds and active membership with the State Firemen's and Fire Marshall's Association. 

The Department functions under the direction of Fire Chief Mike Grant who is assisted by three command officers, four medically trained Fire Fighters, twelve basic Firemen and 8 support Fire Fighters. 

The City of Tool Fire Department Mission Statement directs departmental policy with goals and objectives towards accomplishing the mission.
